How the TEP Exchange System Can Sell Your Endowment Policy for More

The TEP Exchange is the first fully automated online exchange for Traded Endowment Policies (TEPs). You simply submit details of your policy for sale online.

The dealing platform stores the  buying criteria of various Market Makers and then automatically generates the highest prices available on the system for your policy. Market Makers are able to update their buying criteria as often as they like, which results in the creation of a genuine real-time exchange for TEPs.

All with-profits endowments are considered.  There is no minimum surrender value or minimum term and it only takes a few moments to submit a policy to the exchange.

The sale of policies is divided into three stages:

1. Instant Auto-offer
You will get the highest offer from the TEP Exchange member Market Makers directly on your screen in MOMENTS. If you wish to accept the highest offer click the "Instruct IFA" button and we will forward the necessary documentation to you for completion within 24 hours. You will be under no obligation to complete the sale of you policy at this stage.

2. Auction Platform
Should the policy not receive an instant auto-offer, we will contact you and offer to re-submit your policy to the online auction with a reserve price. Again there are no fees or charges for this service and we will keep you updated on any bids received. This process can be completed within 48 hours from the time the policy details are submitted.

3. E-mail Distribution
If the auction process does not provide you with a satisfactory bid, the system will e-mail the policy details to 18 TEP Market Makers/Dealers. These Market Makers/Dealers will contact you directly with a valuation for the policy. This could take up to 14 days for the Market Makers/Dealers to contact you.

The purchase of policies is catered for by a unique "List of Lists." This combines several market makers' lists of  polices for sale, by displaying one comprehensive searchable list.
